Annalisa
Rinetti was born and raised in Italy, where she was introduced
to dance and music very early on. As a child she studied
ballet, ballroom dance and she has become an accomplished
flautist, having played the flute since age 11. She had to put
her passion on the back burner, though, when she started her
education in foreign languages, which granted her a degree in
Translation and Interpretation in the year 2000. In 2003 she
moved from Italy to Los Angeles to perfection her language
skills and a 9-months program turned into a permanent
relocation. In 2006 she was introduced for the first time to
Salsa LA style and ever since she has decided to continue
pursuing her dream of dance. In November 2007 she started
working steadily on her salsa dancing with Walter Jones and at
the beginning of this year, she joined her first salsa group
choreographed by Liz Lira and Walter Jones. Her first
performance was at Steven’s Steak House at the beginning of
May and after that, she participated in shows at The Rumba
Room, Cohiba Lounge and the Los Angeles Salsa congress with
the Salsero State University group. While focusing on salsa,
she has also once again started practicing ballet to help
perfect her dancing form. She is very proud and excited to
now be a part of Salsabor y Caché Performance Group. |
