Rogelio Moreno , though born in Chicago Illinois, lived most of his life in Guadalajara, Mexico before relocating with his family to Los Angeles. As a young boy he spent much of his time with his grandmother, a professional dancer, from whom he inherited his grace and facility for Latin dancing. Throughout his teens his practices were very strict and professional. Rogelio became a very active participant in many athletic sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer and boxing but he maintained his love for dance by frequenting the Latin clubs.

Rony & Dinora are one of the most stable couple in the salsa scene, their professionalism, charm and true love for the dance have made them one of the best couples in Los Angeles. They have won numerous competitions and have been able to perform in big stages in countries like Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan and throughout the United States.  They have done numerous videos, like "I Need To Know" with Marc Anthony, “Gots To Be” with B2K, TV shows and movies like "Blow”, “Charm”, “Austin Powers”, “Showtime", “Six Feet Under” & Sabado Gigante just to name a few.

Jaimee Dunning was born in Cool, CA in 1986.  Since the beginning of her life it was recommended that she never dance or do sports because of a dislocated hip that was never picked up as an infant.  So her first five years of her life were spent in traction, body cast and braces.  At the age of 8 she was determined to study dance.  After the approval of her doctor, Jaimee starting under the instruction of Pauline Von Thaden at Green Tree dance Studio.  For 15 years she studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, swing, hip hop and modern dance.  From 2004-2005 she danced for a competitive hip hop team called Pac Modern while attending California State University Long Beach's dance department.  After receiving her Bachor's in dance she began dancing for SYC.  She is loving the new technique she is learning from Rogelio and can't wait to perform and travel with the team!

Miguel Aguirre was first inspired by his father Francisco as well as other L. A style salseros such as the Vazquez brothers and Rogelio Moreno where he developed his unique and smooth dancing style. Together they have helped to teach and inspire many dancers to grow and improve through their work and dedication.


Born in Toronto, Canada, Josie Neglia grew up amongst many Italian friends as a middle child of Sicilian parents.  From a very young age, she studied ballet and jazz and later entered York University as a dance major where she had four years of extensive daily training in ballet and modern dance.

Miguel Gutierrez was born in Mexico with the love of dancing. He moved to Los Angeles and developed the world famous L. A. style. He first trained with Mr. Rogelio Moreno of Salsabor y Cache Dance Company for a few years then continued training with Mr. Miguel Aguirre of Candela Pura.
Motivated by their dancing skills, they encouraged him to persuade his dream of having his owned dance company. His dancing skills where rapidly acknowledge. By 2008 Bailarines Con Cache were born and started performing in local clubs and congresses. Now he is known for his smoothness and elegant style of dancing the true Cache.
Besides his passion for dancing, he is also an entrepreneur and owns an advertising company.
He believes that if you set your mind into any goal you wish, it can be possible to achieve.


Arturo Ramirez

Realizing his inherent love for salsa music at a young age and his unquestionable talent in dance, Arturo Ramirez has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the salsa world.  His effortless ability to fuse the graceful lines of ballroom dance with the fiery intensity of salsa undoubtedly provides him his distinctive style and edge. 

Arturo developed his raw talent quicker than most, taking first place upon his debut appearance at the 2005 Emerald Ball.  Since then, he has founded his own dance company, Salsa Future. He has registered with the NDCA, danced in music videos for major Latin artists, and has established himself as a performer, instructor, and choreographer.  He has an immutable desire to share his love for salsa with the world, and he plans on doing so not only through dance, but also through music.  He is currently providing group lessons at Lido Restaurant in South Gate.  For more information check out his website at www.salsafuture.com


Megan Edner has been an active member of SYC for 7 years and counting. Graduating from UCLA with a dance major Megan has had the opportunity to explore many languages of dance. Due to her extensive training, Megan’s impeccable speed and timing are a great asset to Salsabor Y Cache. SYC’s hard work and dive for success is what motivates Megan to bring an innovative style that’s full of Sabor Y Cache.


Jesus Morales

World-renowned Latin instructor, performer, and choreographer, Jesus Morales has been featured in several TV shows, commercials, and movies.  Through his experience and travel, Jesus draws on his careful observation of dance styles all over the world.  His extensive dance background including ballet, jazz, flamenco, tango, hip hop, swing, tap, ballroom and more Latin dances, and the knowledge acquired in his musical studies creates a style of dancing that is explosive, expressive, and captivating-- his own Hollywood Style.  He now presents the salsa series, sharing with his students his experience and training, teaching all the necessary skills for successful, enjoyable Salsa dancing. He calls his style "smooth dancing, where the lead is as smooth and gentle as possible, but at the same time sharp and totally inside the music. Jesus is not only a great dancer but an excellent instructor who teaches dance around the world and now you can learn his style here in Los Angeles.

 


Samantha Harrison brings something different to the stage with a unique style stemming from her extensive training in Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Hip-hop, Ballroom, Salsa, African and Mid Eastern dance. Since the age of 7, she has commanded the attention of audiences with her dynamic performances in many forms of dance.

Competitions: Stars National Las Vegas-3rd place solo, 1st place team, Kansas’ Best-2nd place solo, 1st place team, AM Future Champs National Comp. Las Vegas 3rd place Rhythm, 4th place Smooth.

Mike Tica & Christina Haggerty

Mike has been dancing Salsa in Los Angeles scene since 1992. Christina's love for Salsa brought her to Los Angeles in the year 2000. Mike and Christina met each other in Salsa In The Mix dance group where they traveled and performed for 5 years. These two choreograph dynamic dance numbers that combine many music and dance styles with lively salsa music and dance steps.

Their styles range from mysterious heavily themed routines such as Vogue (Salsa in the Mix), to more traditional salsa and Cha Cha Cha routines.  All their shows captivate the audience with hair raising tricks, lifts, dips and turn combinations.  Their hard work and dedication have paid off with performances for television, films, festivals, professional competitions and trips in the United States and abroad.

Currently, they keep busy performing and teaching workshops and private lessons to share their knowledge and spread their passion for the music and dance.

Jo Quiñones

Raised in the Caribbean, Jo has been surrounded by dance forms all of her life and began dancing ballet, Puerto Rican folklore and jazz at the early age of 5.

Karina Pogosyan moved from Armenia to US in 2000. After two years of being in Los Angeles she discovered salsa which totally change her life. It started as a hobby with famous  Alex Da Silva later on her passion took her to competitions and won 2nd place at Conga Room and 1st place at the Mayan club. She'd have the opportunity to learn and perform in deferent salsa congresses and events with LA's best salsa dance companies such us Salsabor Y Cache, Los Rumberos and Ritmo y Salsa. She is currently teaching in local clubs and performing in salsa congresses in nation wide.


Alien Ramirez Perez was born in the city of Bayamo, Cuba. Her interest in the art of dancing started at a very early age. Since she was 4 years old, she has never stopped dancing.

Alien started her professional dancing training at the EIA (Escuela de Instructores de Arte, Cuba) where she developed her skills in several different types of dances. Some of these styles include ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, flamenco, cuban folklore and, of course, all latin styles and afro-cuban as well as gymnastics.

Not only she trained as a dancer but also she graduated as a trained instructor. After graduating, she worked at the Olga Alonso Dance studio in Cuba teaching latin dance and afro-cuban styles.

At the age of nineteen she arrived to the United States hoping to make her dreams come true. While in Miami, she partnered up with Nelson Gaston Vidarte with who she obtained several recognitions and won the Word Salsa Federation Championship 2004 in two different divisions.

Alien, in her short career as a dancer, has worked as a dancer for several television shows, video clips, TV commercials and as an Assistant Choreographer for Alex DaSilva for the TV show "So you think you can dance" (2005 to present). In addition, she teaches and conducts workshops in recognized night clubs like The Mayan, Mama Juanas, Tapas, Cocomo (San Francisco) and also in Mexico, Germany, Colombia, Austria and many more.

These days, Alien is one of the most important figures in the salsa scene. Her style is very unique and captures the attention of the public. She confessed that dancing is her way of expressing her thoughts and feelings. Her passions makes people around her love salsa even more. People not only admire her for her style but also for her sweet personality. Her dancing style implies flavor, elegance and sensuality. All her abilities and experience are combined into her very own and unique style.


Making people smile is a talent Walter has mastered. As a facile actor/dancer who's mental and physical abilities prove no bounds, Walter reached millions everyday in forty different countries as "Power Ranger" superhero "Zack" on the youth mega-hit television show, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." When asked what's it like to
be a superhero, he calmly said, "Being a superhero has some interesting advantages."

Walter's credits cover both Film, Television, and Voice Over. Some of his more recent performances include the number one rated drama series "CSI", the Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning police drama "The Shield",
The best short film winner of the San Francisco Black Film Festival "MOVE," and the comic action adventure film "Love And A Bullet."  Read more
